Interpretation is an interactive kind of translation that can be influenced by instantaneous human behavior and, in this way, differs greatly from written translation.

How is interpretation carried out?

Interpretation is basically divided into two types: simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. Interpreters in both types of interpreting are often called to different locations. In some cases, our clients request their services by phone or online.

The most important skills required of an interpreter are language knowledge, expertise in the field to be interpreted and equal authority on both cultures.  It is not possibl for people who do not have specific experience in interpretation to be successful. Therefore, authentic interpretation is not a low wage bracket profession.  It should be carried out by an interpreter with top-level grammar, experience and the highest degree of expertise in the field in which the translation will be done.

Our interpreting staff consists of interpreters who can immediately pass what they have heard quickly and accurately through their filter of knowledge, have the ability to adapt to the flow rate of the speaker, and produce interpretations that remain loyal to the essence of the speech.

It is very important for the interpreter to conform with the speaker and it’s useful to agree with the speaker on this matter in advance. In general, expressions consisting of one or two short sentences are preferable; it prevents possible errors in interpretation. If speech is very fast and interpreters can not keep pace with the speaker, interpreters may have to summarize the conversation. Therefore, adjustments in the rate of the speech will be required.
